hi all,

qq the manual mentions the water resistant type features but does not spell out that the device is waterproof and to what depth if using it for swimming/snorkeling (not scuba) - anyone can point me to a source?

Hi, @Members_T6MQU9d! The Watch4 Classic is water resistant, as opposed to being waterproof. 

It can stay under 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Our colleagues from Samsung US have created this useful guide for protecting your smartwatch:

I've been swimming in a pool with my watch on and haven't had any issues so from personal experience I can say you shouldn't have an issue while swimming
