Can't copy update to watch 4 classic

My watch 4 classic said that an update was available, however when updating the phone and watch say copying update to watch but then fails. An error comes up saying couldn't copy update to watch and try again later. I've reset the watch and still same issue. Any help would be great

Have you tried downloading the update directly on the watch?
