Samsung Galaxy watch classic 5 burning my wife skin, it has irritated her and made her uncomfortable

This is something that shouldn't be happening, and it's something Samsung would be interested to find out more about the issue.
If you go into your profile and send a direct message to @Sam_UK and explain the problem and give as much detail as possible

I agree with @Glenntech do send the message and kr contact your Samsung Support ASAP. 

Until then desist from using the watch.

From my personal experience, watch strip should not be too tight. There should be a slight looseness; otherwise, you may experience skin irritations. There must always be some space between the watch and the skin.

I have the watch pro5 but it's never got hot to burn but when the weather is hot I do find when you get a bit sweaty it becomes itchy so I losen the strap
