Buds3 Pro touch settings

Recently purchased a pair of buds3 pro and just got round to setting them up.

Connection to S24U works well and pairing with a Sony Bracia TV was straightforward. Just a pity you can connect to two devices at same time like it's possible with my Sony BT headphones.

My question is about the touch sensitive actions for volume, pause, play, skip track etc.

The volume adjustment works OK using either earned however no matter how I try I cannot get the earpods to do any more than that. The guide refers to 'pinching' the blades but nothing seems to make any difference

Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.
