Buds3 Pro (free) review...Poor

These finally arrived as part of the s24ultra promotion and I’m glad these were free because not worth the money IMO.  Compared to my Buds2 pro they are a poor fitting, bass is poorer and the pinches are so much slower to react to the taps of the Buds2 Pro which worked very time as opposed to hit and miss.. I shall keep my Buds2 pro for out and about in jacket/bag and have these on my 3 in one charger for when using at home so convenient for that but IMO a huge blunder on behalf of Samsung. Should have made improvements to the Buds2 pro design instead. I’m glad I bought a spare set of Buds2 pro just as they went out of stock everywhere for £110....I'm sure others disagree but sorry. Just poor..

They also look like air pods, which is why I haven't upgraded yet

@Casjen  Not everyone is happy with the design, some do have issues with the fitting  but foam tips are an alternative.   However I view the sound quality as being impressive and coversely view the Bass as enhanced, there are different views though.

Hello @Casjen

I totally appreciate your viewpoint on the Samsung Buds³ Pro.

It's a set I'm interested in too.

I also own the Samsung Buds² Pro too so I'll take your opinion into due consideration.

Take care 😎

Obviously the change of design is subjective... some love it or other hate it.

I upgraded a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier.

I find the sound response is an improvement over my buds 2 pro. Obviously I did the sound tests to make sure i have a good isolation. I actually find the fitting matches my ear shape pretty well. But I did change to the large size to get a 'good' reading in the sound app.

When I first started using the touch controls on the stalk of the Bud3pro... I was not impressed. But after the first 48 hours of getting used to it, I am now far happier with the controls than the earlier buds.

I think they might grow on you given a chance to. Keep using them and make sure you use the right size ear tips. If you find the fit is not perfect with the standard tips, there are a few recommended ones from Azla crystaltips... and others... that some users are raving about on Reddit.

P.s. I wish I had got mine for free !! 😮
