Is it just me, or do the buds 3 have better bass than the buds3 pros? Don't get me wrong, 3pros are fantastic! Wayyy better ANC, ambience sounds fantastics and original, but the sound quality, I don't know, just sounds inferior to the buds 3, or even the original buds pros Can you please give your honest review? Especially if you've used the other lineups considerably.

For me I prefer the pro's sound quality and have more base. We all have different preferences. So for you may be the buds 3 are your preferred choice in sound quality.

I had the buds3. I found the sound amazing, but only when I pushed down on them with my fingers deeper into the ears, which is just unfortunate as they do not stay in place for long. 3 weeks ago, I traded them in for buds3 pro paying £80. Have to say, I preferred the sound on the buds3, but only when I push down on them, which is something I don't want to constantly do. The buds3 pro has amazing bass and is loud but only on certain songs. Here's the horrible kicker. The crackling sounds when anc is switched on is absolutely dreadful. You get popping sounds, too. It does this on some of my favourite songs. This is an issue, apparently. I've seen reports on reddit. I've reset numerous times, but it's still the same *****, which is a shame as some songs sound amazing. I'm not sure whether to send it to Samsung for a repair/replacement or just sell them and buy the Sony xm5, which has amazing reviews. Many people complained about the buds3 not fitting and others complaining about this crackling and popping noises when you use anc on buds3 pro. Overall, I'm frustrated and disappointed with the odd levels of excitement. The crackling sounds go away when anc is switched off. The crackling sounds always do it on the same songs/music. It's not on every song, but it's there every day when I use them.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds
3 have a single 11mm driver, while the Buds 3 Pro feature a dual-driver setup with a 10mm dynamic driver and a planar tweeter

Maybe try adjusting the EQ?

I see. I've got a similar experience with you. I don't think it's a hardware problem honestly. I think it's just poor software tuning. Hoping it'll improve with future updates.
I got the free buds 3 with my S25U ultra, but the fit is sooo poor and I have to twist it several times and push deep into my ear to get a "perfect" sound experience. Very exhausting to keep doing that.

I got the buds3 pros and now facing these issues😅. Will sadly manage it for now and hope for future software update improvements.

Already so engrossed in the ecosystem so not really considering another product.

Thank you very much guys for your honest responses!

Tried this, the bass boost seems to offer the best sound experience for me (I prioritize good thumping bass lol)

I actually think the buds 3 are quite weak when it comes to bass. I have a cheap Lenovo buds set from Temu for £1 which has far superior sounding bass (not knocking it, but it's true). The new buds definitely have lost that bass level of older sets and it's not because they're tip less (buds live for example has a far superior bass level). This may be an AI driven thing, but whatever the reason, they definitely are much milder when it comes to bass. I noticed you have to drop 3-4 notches from max volume in order to hear the better bass levels, otherwise anything above focuses mostly treble.

No worries 👍🏻
Yeah, unfortunately, the buds3 were very frustrating to use that way as it really gave a great sound experience when applying pressure on them. Never looked forward to using them, knowing incoming tired arms was inevitable. There are plenty of them selling cheap on Ebay now.
I do like the buds3 Pro a lot and really want to keep them. They are much more practical listening to thumping tunes or anything else than the buds3 are. I'm hoping you're right in it just being a software thing as I've read many having these issues and returning them. I love the light blades, lol. They do sound amazing when streaming good bitrate music. I also hear different instruments I haven't heard before with the dual-driver setup. I think like me, you'll prefer the buds3 pro. I use only bass boost and dynamic depending on the tune. Also, I find that when switching off the anc, I lose the richness of the sound. I don't think they're worth what sammy are asking for it, and I'm happy they only cost me £80. ✌🏻

Very well! Turning off ANC drastically reduces the sound quality and richness.
Fingers crossed

Pros sound amazing for me compared to the regular 3s and pretty much every other brand. Get a good fit , put the EQ on dynamic and switch to UHQ sound mode
