Dear community,

few days ago I buyed the samsung buds.
Their are great. The sound is good and my voice in calls is also fine.
BUT
If I use an app which use the microfone (e.g. Whatsapp call / voice message, dictaphone etc) will prefered the Phone mic.
I'm not able to use my buds microphone in these apps.
Is this a software issue or a prophe with the buds?
It will be nice to know.
If I'm not able to use them e.g. while a skype call, their will be useless for me.

Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Dave

Seems that there's no fix yet even after 3 years 😞

Also added 1 app to the list: MS Teams. Even in call, it uses the phone microphone instead of buds pro microphone....

I have exactly the same problem. It is unbelievable Samsung!

Some of us don't need the earbuds to listen to music, but to have whatsapp, teams calls, send whatsapp messages, etc.  Please make this work.  I have everything set and still not working!

Same problem, I see after almost 4 years this is still not resolved

After buying Samsung whole ecosystem I'm regretting my choice, I feel this company does not look after customers

My Solution simple solution (because I'd the same Issue at the PC)

Buy new.
I have been using Sony headphones (MX-WF-1000mx4. They work. On the cell phone, on the PC (only there you sometimes have to deactivate the hands-free settings in the connected Bluetooth device). I need no additional apps on PC, i have the Sony App just for config.

Nice thing.

Well, 4.5 years later, it seems the issue continues and there's no fix or anwer from Samsung.

Definitly not the best way to keep loyal customers. Bye Samsung.
