Last night I just realised that the back side of my Samsung Frontier watch is cracked. I know that it never felt down or similar happen.  Did anyone have such issue?

Its now June 2019, I got mine as a birthday present in April 2019 had it for a month when one morning when i got up i put it on and had a sharp pain on my wrist, only to find this !!!!! A radial crack eminating from the charging diodes. The goose at the shop at JB HiFi said I dropped it and its my fault, yeah right douche. He sent it away requesting a quote for repair, not believing me that i believe it happened whilst charging overnight....
To add insult to injury the extended extra warranty they charged my wife does not cover the glass on the watch, according to Douche HiFi, Now i have a brand new fragile as egg shells activity watch that cant stand the heat.....and it has 5 years warranty thats good for nothing. Last time buying a Samsung product.

An update to this saga, I was asked kindly by Samsung customer serviec to elevate the watch for re assessment to the Samsung reapr center. So I did. The second assessment said that it would now cost $280 to repair. OK, why was the first assessment only $120 ? anyway, they still reckon i dropped it because they have never heard of it cracking whilst charging. So i guess everyone better be aware of how fragile a watch they have on their hands and they better change marketing becuase it is aimed at the outdoor person...... something this watch cant keep up with being so fragile.

Same with me guys! Im not sure how my watches back cracked but i did send it to samsung to repair the battery a few months ago and after getting it back did not notice the back was cracked so im unsure how it happened. I have just phoned samsung because my battery is only charging now when the watch is off so they are going to have a look at it again and i have asked them about the back panel also.

Cannot believe it! Samsung has said they will not fix the watch even though the watch cracked somehow when Samsung had it in for repair or some other reason. Im a 52 year old that is not as active anymore. I walk everywhere or drive. I dont where the watch to work. I really don’t know how the glass cracked. Not happy at all with this and im wondering what i should do next?

Mine too, I saw it two days after I got mine as a gift. The company said that it voids the warranty, I told them it came like that. They said didn't matter they won't fix it with out paying a huge amount, I won't another ever.

Hi guys, after this dispute i have had with Samsung they agreed to fix my glass on the back of my watch which THEY broke, so i sent it back to them. The guy in the service centre i spoke to said  crack on the back was caused by a clasping tool they use to open and close the watch. But the repair centre deny this. After weeks of discussions and photo's i sent they agreed it was caused by this tool. But the repair centre disagree and im inbetween with my watch broken. Now the service centre phoned me today to say my watch now does not charge and the seal is broken and because of the crack they say the watch is not warranteed anymore and want to charge ME! Even though im 100% sure they broke the back glass.  Smh!  Had enough of this! Cannot believe Samsung are acting like this! What a disgrace!

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. That's terrible. I don't think Samsung is a professional co in this area. I have had my watch glass break too, without dropping it, without harsh handling, it happened overnight on the charger. No one was helpful. I'm done with Samsung, never again. I'll go other products over Samsung from now on. In the end I ended up fixing it myself. But I know the rear glass is very easy to break. Not the watch they actually advertise about in their ads. Fragile as egg shells.
