I'd suggest to take your watch to a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre and explain what's happened and they'll advise.
They may help under the 24 month manufacturing warranty however they may decide its user caused damage.
The issue would be not being able to prove what's happened.
If they decline a free repair then maybe if you have household contents insurance you can use your policy. T&C's and excess fees may apply.
