Hi
I notice that this watch doesn't have a specific HIIT or interval training option on the activity tracking (my training partner has an interval training option on her Apple watch). Is the circuit training option the same as this? This is really important to me as HIIT is my main form of exercise and I need the tracking to be accurate.
Thanks in advance!

Complain to them about that too. Maybe they have a solution in the works. In my case, there was an issue with the recent app update that caused my recent workouts to not record.

Hi Anpargon, Unfortunately, personalize running intervals is not an option in the watch, I've been doing intervals for a while but I need to use another app to advice me the intervals, the watch has so limited options for running, then I have to do it in the Samsung app in the phone that is more flexible in running options. I have to say that is a really pretty watch, but if you are looking for an accurate watch with wide options for intensive training and also you want calculate kals this is not your best option. I hope this help you

I have used a Fitbit Versa 2 to compare against my Active 2 and the HIIT stats on the Active 2 are under reading a lot, at least 30% under reading calorie count. Please give us a HIIT Workout mode as soon as possible.
Thank you

I really hope this functionality gets added.
I have a Galaxy Fit. The closest workaround I've found for interval training is the following:
1) Go into "Manage Exercises" on the Galaxy Wearable app
2) Select "Running"
3) Set "Guide Frequency" to whatever your interval is. For instance I sprint for 1 minute, then jog for 2. I set it to one and know that on the second notification while jogging it's time to sprint again.
Doesn't really help with tracking intervals specifically, but at least gives you the time prompts.

I have a Galaxy Active 2... A watch that literally has 'Active' in its title yet doesn't have a comprehensive HIIT tracking functionality is beyond ridiculous.
HIIT isn't some kind of obscure training method, it really should have some kind of presence within Samsung Health, even at the basic level (just set low intensity/ high intensity time periods). That's all.
Sort it out.
