One UI 5 gives you more powerful personalization and makes it easier to get things done on all your Galaxy devices. Lets have a look at some of the many new features!
New app icons and illustrations
Symbols with icons are larger for a bolder design that is easier to scan. Subtle background gradients and improved contrast provide a fresher, more natural feel. New help illustrations have been created to give all apps a uniform look.
Smoother than ever before
New animations and transition effects make switching between screens feel more natural. Animations and other visual feedback appear directly when you touch the screen, making the interaction more intuitive. Scrolling speed has also been improved so that scrolling feels smoother throughout One UI.
Improved blur and color effects
Background blur effects on the quick panel, home screen and for the entire One UI have been improved with brighter colors for a clearer and more uniform experience. Simplified app color schemes help you avoid distractions and focus on the task at hand.
Customize the lock screen
Just touch and hold on the lock screen to edit. Could it be any easier? Customize background, clock style, notification settings and more, with live preview, all in one place.
More background choices
The background settings have been redesigned, making it easier to find the perfect wallpaper for the home screen and lock screen. There are more images, videos, colors and filters to choose from than ever before.
