Hi my Voice command on remote QLED TV QE65Q8CAMT purchased in 2017 is started translating all my English commands to Russian, can anyone advise how to fix?

I’ve been having same problem. It just started happening about 3 weeks ago but when I googled it no one seemed to have any problems. I thought it was just me now it seems it’s happening to everyone. Somethings it translates into Ukrainian and some Russian. I spoke to it in Russian and it understood me not in a sense that it did what I asked but the translation was correct according to my phone app.
just wondering does anyone else use IPTV? Just looking for a correlation!

Same issue here and I have spoken to Samsung Techs on WhatsApp. UE55MU6475. Started on Jan 24th. Located in Helsingborg, Sweden and I do use my Network with SmartDNS but my other newer Samsung TVs have no issues at all. They do run Bixby as the voice assistant though as my older one does it in the Cloud or on Samsung's Servers.

Samsung! Help is needed. English commands are translating to Russian. UN65 Mun 6300 series 2017 model year tv.

sounds like a server side issue, I doubt the remote is the issue.

I agree. The Voice assist won't work unless the TV is connected to the internet. There are no settings specific to the remote for Language, just the overall TV language.

my new samsung remote I bought off Amazon arrived today, and I just tried it, and it still shows russian. but I ordered the remote before I knew it was a worldwide problem, wasted like 15 bucks

My 75" 2017 TV started doing this on Friday January 24, 2025. I chatted with someone from Samsung and they walked me through all the tired text book trouble shooting methods: Unplug the TV, Reset the remote, check the language setting and finally a factory reset. The factory reset worked...for six days, and now today on the 30th its doing it again and while it is very frustrating, I'm seeing here many people are experiencing the same thing so hopefully Samsung will figure out something to correct this sooner rather than later.
