Hi my Voice command on remote QLED TV QE65Q8CAMT purchased in 2017 is started translating all my English commands to Russian, can anyone advise how to fix?
I have the same problem just started on my UE55MU6400U model and I have seen some other comments regarding this issue on Reddit. I have reset the TV to factory and checked the languages which are all set to English - as far as I can see no-one else online has been able to fix this problem. I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but the fact the language on a connected device has been reset to Russian does seem a bit suspicious.
My un65mu9000 bought in 2017 has just started the same thing. Unable to input channel number no except 5. Have these tvs been hacked or is the remote going bad. Help
Same thing here. Forgot the model but it's a 2017 something something 8000. What's weird is if I use a translator app to translate a voice command to Russian it still doesn't respond to that either... The only thing I use the voice control for is changing the backlight settings or turning Game Mode on/off but now it does absolutely nothing except show my English words in Russian. I haven't convinced myself it's a conspiracy theory but at the same time why did this just happen out of nowhere after years of owning this tv?
Did all of u just get this problem recently, mine was 2 days ago that it went crazy. I use my remote for direct channel changing instead of toggling. Maybe somebody from Samsung will see this conversation and have some answer.
I also have a 2017 model (curve) started doing this a few days ago. Tried unplugging TV, resetting remote and re-pairing remote but still not able to resolve.
Same issue on the smart remote voice command.. The remote works fine in all other ways just when you try using the voice command it translates everything to Russian...
When it worked this was a great feature for searching YouTube. Currently voice control via the smart remote is unusable.
