I purchased 3 months ago a Samsung 7 SERIES 43 Model: ue43ru7092uxxh TV. Few days ago i tried to change my settings but im unable to do it. When i press the Settings button i can go up and down on the left side (marked with green arrows) but when i got to the right side (Marked with red arrows) im unable to move up and down and i cant change any settings. I have this problem in the settings only.
It was working when i bought the TV.

Frame 2019 (I believe that’s the right year). And I am using the smart remote white. No numbers on it

Do you have the original remote?
If you do like in the picture press the buttons. If not get one.

I have it from a different tv. Can I use that without any tuneup?

You might need to go to universal remote on your tv to activate it.

I created the account to just reply your comment and say thank you, I have been having a same exact issue since 2021 I contacted the Samsung support they told me they will send some one to fix it but they never fixed it, now I read your comment and finally fixed my TV

This finally worked! But I had to hold the power button on the remote down first (for five seconds) and then the TV power button down. Finally!. Thank you so much

SOLUTION SOLUTION SOLUTION READ:
KEEP TYRING the Info-Settings-Mute-Power method.
I have 2 samsung tvs, on one of them the menu opens up everytime, but I coudnt get the menu to open up on the tv that was experiencing the issue. I probably tried the combination 10 times before the menu finally opened.
Keep trying the method, it will eventually work.
Also I hope Samsung dies, Im never buying anything from them again. It took so long to make this account to post a reply because they didnt accept my email address (WHY???????) when signing up with google, and asked a billion irrelevant question when setting up the account.
