I have had my TV for just over 18 months. When using today, 1/3rd of the screen is now shaded dark. This applies when using all operating systems, like Sky, Firestick, Terrestrial, so is a TV issue not the external systems. Does anyone else have the same TV Issue? I am having no luck contacting the call centre which simply does not connect, whilst the online chat is not working.

Exactly the same as mine. I had mine for 17 months before it went. Exact same problem with same model. A quick google search seems like this is a common fault on Samsung TVs. Has put me off the brand.

Hey mate. Thanks for your reply. Just to let you know that in the end we wrote to Samsung and then followed up with a phone call. They agreed to contract out local suppliers who fixed it free of charge.

Any idea what department you spoke? What you said for them to agree? It’s obviously a common fault. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes mate. We firstly sent an email to uk.help@samsung.com with details of the problem and a copy of the invoice. They then contacted us and asked us to call a number which was. 0330 726 7864. We did and spoke to a lady called Honey. She reviewed the letter and asked us to sent her a photo of the TV picture. Which we did. She then said she would sort it by getting in contact with our local dealer and authorised a repair free of charge. We then got an email from Samsung saying that they had contacted the local dealer and that we were to contact them. We contacted them they picked up the TV they fix the problem and then called us later in the day to say everything was okay we then got the TV back. All in all from our phone call at around 9 am in the morning it was all sorted by 4 pm the same day
