Hi

I have an odd problem with my UE55AU9000.

All was working fine until I changed from DSL Broadband to fibre broadband (new router, same ISP etc).

With the new router, the TV tells me it has a internet connection but none of the APPS work.

I can stream Samsung TV channels and browse the web on the TV so I know its got access to the gateway but none of the APPS (netflix/BBC iplayer etc) are able to connect.  I've tried a full APP centre reset and a full TV reset and same results.

Happens on both wired and wireless connections.

If I plug the TV back into the old router it springs back into life so confused whats going on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Ryles   Not common for it not to  work via wired, wifi generally more convenient though sometimes there can be issues.

Even if working on other Router check you have the latest firmware which is 2111.1 https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE55AU9000KXXU
Ideas include the following:

A soft Reset (pressing and holding power button on Smart Remote for around 5 seconds until Tv restarts ) and rebooting router and TV (leave for at least 30  seconds before reconnecting.  If no further forward possible wifi fix  is to change the DNS settings. Go to Network-Network Settings-DNS Settings. Change from Automatic to to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. (Google servers) or 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220 (Open DNS)
