Hi,

My sky stream UHD output is playing so dark it's unwatchable. I'm aware sky broadcast UHD in HLG format and all searches I do say that this model is HLG comparable. I can't however find anywhere that enables this.

I've tried the external management on general > external output etc but each time in all HDMI ports I just can't see HLG available.

I did find it yesterday but it said function not available.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi @Rustymoo Input Signal Plus needs to be enabled from the External Device Manager for the appropriate port. For the Sky settings the picture resolution needs to be set at 2160p, guide here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-ultra-hd Your model supports panel depth 10 bits (8 bits plus FRC -Frame Rate Control) Technical differences with a true 10 bit panel explained here https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/you-asked-15/
With HDR content the colour and contrast should be at maximum levels, can adjust if not the case. If you have a Filmmaker Mode that is considered to be the most accurate, Movie or standard may be a bit brighter though. In the Expert picture settings should see Gamma where you can select HLG if not activated automatically.

Hi James.

Thanks for the info.

I have most of that set up now. However, in picture > expert settings under Gamma I only have BT.1886 or 2.2 available to select. ST.2084 and HLG are greyed out  and "this function isn't available"

I have sky stream set 2160p as well.

Any other advice most welcome.

Thank you.
