Dear Sir/Madam,

I was unable to find a Samsung email Support address. This Servicehead one is the closest I could get. PLEASE, Please Please forward this email to the appropriate destination. I have read the manual to no avail, I don’t do Twitter and I am unable to use Chat.

I have a Samsung T24E390EX which I use mainly as a Monitor for my Win-7 desktop. Despite the great number of MENU options which I have tried individually and permutated, I have been unable to (reliably/permanently) get rid of either one of, a screen-shift to the left, leaving about a half inch of missing detail on the left side and an equivalent sized dark vertical band on the opposite side, or, randomly a change, (almost certainly associated with my attempts to correct the situation by adjusting the settings) to the exact reverse of what I have described happens i.e. Missing data on the right and dark band on the left.

The problem can usually be made to disappear by powering off the monitor and switching it on again.

If I select Menu/Picture/Auto Adjustment, the screen centres itself beautifully, this may randomly last for hours or days before going wrong again – surely it can’t be right to have to go into the Menu mode so often – What am I doing wrong? Am I missing out any steps?

Hey @Don Corbata

I'd advise giving our Product Support Team a call on 0333 000 0333, and ask for a call back from one of our Product Specialists, as they'll be able to look into this further with you.

Dear Kholai,

Thank you very much. I made the call and registered my issue and got an email address to which I am sending details. I had previously tried the number you gave me, but on those occasions I got an UNOBTAINABLE noise? I thank you for your advice - getting me to try again!

I have a T24E390EX TV also, unfortunately the controls were lost in a move. Does anyone have a  screen grab of what EXACTLY the controls look like? so I can try and get a replacement online somewhere. thanks
