TV QN900a 65in screen shadow and sound issue

Has anyone come across this at all please. While watching TV over the past week I have a shadow in the centre of the screen. It's happening on the SkyQ box, 4k UHD films on the PS5 and also on the TV's internal apps Disney+ Netflix and BBC. I am pretty sure it's the screen now and not connections. It doesn't really show on the diagnostic test picture or video but I think that's because it's colourful and not a light bright screen. I've attached a few pictures and a video. I think I will have to try and contact Samsung direct as it's only 7 months old. Just wondered if others have had similar issue or any ideas. I do also have a Samsung Q950a surround system but that's a good distance away from the screen and panel. Kind Regards..

Hi mate thanks for the reply. I am getting no where with Samsung. I have now escalated this to their CEO and I am quoting my consumer rights. I want a full refund now. Samsung have failed to fix the issue. Samsung did issue a service bulletin to Martin Dawes the authorised service centre that deal with all repairs. They have changed the PEQ setting to 1 now on the factory settings. The sound is worse now than it was before. All they have tried to do is remove the bass from the TV to stop the vibration. The vibration still happens and now the sound is so tinny and such a bad quality. Martin Dawes told me twice that it's not fixed. Over the phone and also face to face when we demo'd the TV when they brought it back to me. They ever rang there boss while at my house to say it's still an issue. 2 days later I got an email from Samsung to say it's within Spec which it is clearly not. I believe Samsung have now told Martin Dawes just to sign it off as fixed and say it's within Spec when it's clearly not. It's shocking. I will keep you updated when I hear back from the CEO office. I am not going to accept that the poor quality sound is acceptable on a £6k TV

Hi , I have read your story about your t.v with the shadow and Its nearly word for word whats happening to me . The pictures you uploaded look like you photographed my t.v, the shadow is exactly the same position and shape as on mine. Have you got any further with Samsung ? I'm waiting for a call back from a more senior manager but not holding my breath . I feel these television's are sold on the quality of the UHD picture and having a shadow in the middle of the screen is just not good enough. Thanks Ben

Here is what my tv is showing on lighter backgrounds, darker spots perfectly spaced apart. Backlight issues? Dust? Panel? No Samsung care pros can seem to help me with my extended warranty and I have been sent through a never ending loop of customer service paths. Idk who voiced Samsung to be so good at customer service, it must be their own workers.

Just an update for anyone intrested. I have taken a call today from the highest person I can apparently speak too in regards to making a complaint.  I have been told that the t.v is working witin specification even with a shadow down the middle of the screen . I have had two operators at Samsung agree that they can see the shadow when they acsess the camera on my phone  and yet still I'm been told the t.v is working fine . When we received the t.v it worked perfectly and now 2 months old it does not . I was told as far as Samsung are concerned this is the matter closed because they say so . I am going to put our story on Facebook , twitter etc we are also going to see if a newspaper would be intrested in the story aswell as this is unacceptable in my opinion.

If need be, I can write out my whole story of the chaos that’s been trying to utilize the extended warranty that I purchased directly through Samsung; however, it may come out to be a small memoir. BLUF: Samsungs customer service is a deceptively malicious never ending cycle that is still unknown whether it’s complete incompetence of the employees or intentionally designed to coerce their consumers to give up.

Hi jay, I have the exact same problem on my qn900a, near enough the sam shadow on the middle of the screen, did you manage to get this sorted.
