I'm really hoping you can help as the Samsung helpline have been less than helpful.
I bought this TV a week ago. I have linked it up to a Sony surround sound system. I previously used the surround sound with the old TV but the source of the audio came straight from the blu ray player or Sky box via optical or coaxial.
Now I have the new TV the source of the sound is the TV via HDMI or optical. When I play the TV sound through the TV speakers then it is fine. If I play through the surround sound (either through HDMI or optical) then the sound cuts out momentarily every 5 minutes or so.
I don't know what the problem is but the only new piece of technology is the TV so I think it must be causing the problem.
I'm hoping there is a solution so that I don't have to take the TV back.
Thanks

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?

I’m afraid not. I took it back and exchanged it for a Sony one which turned out to be compatible and had no issues.
A shame as it was a great TV otherwise.
