Just curious if the community or Samsung itself is aware of this issue and if there are any plans to fix it. I brought home my brand new 50 inch TU8000 last week and overall I'm very pleased with it.
However, whenever a truly black frame is displayed the entire display switches off (rather than just showing very, very dark grey pixels as my previous LED TV would have done). The problem is that there is a noticeable jump or stutter in the frames directly following this true black behaviour. This can get very frustrating in scenes where there are frequent black frames, with the following content needing to ramp back up to fluid motion.
Is there a way to turn off this "feature" and have the TV display imperfect black frames without any stutter afterwards? Or is there a future update in the works to address this? Thanks.
