I've got the too many reservations error when trying to add a recording.

I've re-tuned and turned on and off several time but this hasn’t worked, I’ve also done a factory reset but again fault appears.

There are currently no scheduled recordings but I can't add a single one due to this error.
The usb has 45Gb to spare..

The TV is a UE49MU7070 with smart hub which has worked perfectly until now

Please advise as we found this so easy to use.

I fitted a smart plug socket (Tapo TP-Link) a few weeks ago. It is set to turn off the power to the TV in the early hours of Monday and Friday mornings for 1.5 hours. I have had none of these problems since.

I have the same problem (too many reservations error) when trying to add a recording and have also tried switching off/factory reset/firmware update actions to no avail.

SOLVED—-TOO MANY RESERVATIONS. Go to settings, General, system manager, right to clock, click on clock, click on clock mode, if on auto change to manual, then come out of settings. Turn off tv. Turn back on. Then go through all the above settings again then when your at turn the clock setting from manual back to auto. Come out of the settings menu, turn off tv then back on this should FIX IT. It worked for me and the too many reservations disappeared and I can see the recording schedules. I’m just using an external hard drive via USB.

THANKS

I thought that at last I've found a solution to this "too many reservations" error I followed your instructions and the TV reminded me that the time had not been set after I powered it back up again so I reset it back to auto and went excitedly to schedule a recording and up came the same error 😉 so I guess I'll have to keep looking for a solution.

Oh dear, try doing it this way Turn off tv. Turn back on. Then go through all the above settings again then when your at turn the clock setting from from auto back to manual: then shut the tv off and back on then turn time again back to auto. Come out of the settings menu, turn off tv for a few minutes, then back on this should FIX IT. It worked for me and the too many reservations disappeared. Let me know.

The only other thing I can think of is the hard drive your recording on is faulty as much later I had the same problem and had to replace it.
so I bought this off eBay an it’s perfect

Hi Gerry, if the ssd that I have connected to the tv was not recording right now I may agree with you but I've found that if I select a program that is currently showing/playing I can record without any problems so it would appear that the real issue is the scheduling of programs not the actual saving of data back to the hard disk, I'll give what you suggested in your previous post tonight when I have a bit more time to phaff around with this annoying issue.

I am considering trying to find out the e-mail address of the UK CEO and send them a snotty message and see if I can get a response from them. 🙄

Cheers

Peter
