Hello
When i am in Art mode and i choose a black mat frame, the color is not true black for all the pictures and it shows up as grey rather than black.
Any ideas?
The 2 pictures below both have a black mat chosen. The second picture is mine.

I have the exact same problem. not sure what is the issue. Matte black color is showing up as Grey, I have a 2022 Frame TV

TL;DR: It is not designed to be pure black.
How I know: I chatted with Samsung support for a very long time. Eventually, they told me ,"No, black mat is not supposed to be black on aet [sic] mode." When I asked whether there was an official Samsung document that confirmed this, the Samsung employee stated, "No, that information is from our internal resources." When I asked if they could screenshot those internal resources, they said, "Sorry to inform you, I am not having access to share the internal information."
So that's it, I guess. The black mat is well . . . not supposed to be black.

I don't buy that it was not supposed to be black because the first few days we owned it, it WAS pure black. Yesterday it turned gray.

My QLED Frame was delivered yesterday - I've spent 3 hours and two factory resets and I still have a grey matte around my artwork - the black option does not show up as black. Medium grey. Any update on this issue?

Mine was black for two years and now has turned gray as of a month ago. The reply one of the posters got from Samsung about not meant to be true black is absolute garbage. Still seeking a fix but fearing I may be stuck with this.

Mine has done the same. Art surround was black for about a year and has now changed to grey. Contacted Samsung, they suggested a few options like checking the software was up to date. None worked so they said they are passing to their technical team. I'm not holding my breath.
