The Frame 2021 55" software issues

Has anybody else had problems with the The Frame 2021?

Mine keeps failing to connect properly with my Sonos Beam. The connection is via HDMI (Arc) but it repeatedly forgets it after it has been in art mode. This can only be solved by either power cycling the TV or physically disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable.

The second problem is that when in "art mode" slide show it forgets that it is supposed to be a slide show and gets stuck on the same picture.

I have the same problem concerning the slide show that gets stuck . Seemingly this started after a software update. I've been in contact with the support team 3-4 times now and they haven't manage to help me with the problem. Guess I just have to wait for a software update?

Yes my art slide show also start freezing. Please fix this problem as this is really frustrating.

DrC72, I face almost the same issues. And I truly think that developers should care way more about their software solution, fixing bugs and giving us more options and adjustments. I don't know, maybe even huge companies should pay attention to freelancers on sites like this I could find ( web link: https://anywhere.epam.com/en/freelance-remote-software-developer-jobs ). They have maybe the biggest database of freelancers, and care a lot about offering of dev work.

It's getting worse - now the smart things app is crashing every time I try and control the TV with it. The main frustration with Samsung seems to be that they don't appear to be monitoring the issues that keep cropping up on here. If we could simply have an official reply from Samsung saying "yes we know about the problems and we are working on solutions" then I would be much happier. Right now I feel like I am beta testing a product that wasn't ready for market. The failing app is just the last straw.

I just contacted Samsung Support on their Twitter Account, and they were very responsive and they said that they are reading this thread. Let's hope change is coming quickly!

My 43" inch Frame was also getting stuck on a single picture in the slide show. I can't be sure exactly what fixed it for me but one of the things I did was a Settings->General->Reset. That forced me into logging back into to my wifi and other accounts again but I think it was worth it. 

If Samsung is reading this post then I also hope that "mat frames during a slide show" is in the works for the next release.

The slide show problem is definitely resolved with the latest firmware but the Sonos connection via HDMI (arc) problem is still not sorted. My TV is still constantly "forgetting" that it is connected to the Sonos

Hello all. It's not just with Sonos. Any external device connected via eARC I believe seems to struggle coming in/out of Art mode.  Very frustrating. 

My issue is driven by the problem I have with trying to connect a new Denon receiver (a cheap AVR-S750H). I want to have Art mode on and listen to some music while reading or when company is over.  That isn't a feature I'd feel is unique in any sense.  Who wouldn't want the option  to use a receiver connected to the Frame to put on some tunes while looking at art work, pictures, whatever. But it just doesn't work right. 

When Frame put in Art mode, it shuts down the Denon. Even if I force it back on and listen to something thru a separate source connected to the Denon (Bluray or DVD player, CD player, whatever) it will work for a little but then the Frame and Denon shut down. Frame will not stay up and running in art mode.  

There must be some software update that will allow settings to be configurable so you can defeat sending signals thru HDMI-CEC or similar when going to art mode and it will not interfere with what's going on with the receiver... or whatever will needs to be done so when using eARC and a receiver with the Frame they can play nicely together and you can easily configure so music can play to a connected external device while in Art mode.

Airplay from my MacBook Pro to the 2021 Frame TV is capped at HD resolution???  I have a 2018 LG OLED that supports airplay @ 4k.  WTF

Having the same issue here.  Sonos states its a Samsung issue.  Anyone talked to customer service?
