I use a Samsung LE26 HD TV (not new but an excellent set) along with a Humax FVP 4000T. A point I would welcome comments on.
The aerial connection to the Humax is a roof aerial with a standard co-axial lead. The connection between the Humax and the TV is HDMI. Picture quality is fine. But, if I plug the aerial lead directly into the Samsung - and switch the source around to allow for it - the picture is non-existent. I don't understand that. ncidentally, if I plug the aerial into an audio amplifier the signal on FM is good.
Not an earth-shattering problem but I would like to know the answer.
