Hi, I’ve just got a QN95A TV and Q800A soundbar and they really don’t like each other!
I’ve got Sky to work by following the advice on here by plugging the soundbar into a non- ARC HDMI port on the One Connect Box, and turning the TV on before the Sky Box.
The problem now is my DVD Player (Panasonic DP-UB820, HDMI Video out to HDMI port on the One Connect Box) only plays sound through the TV speakers. The soundbar is on and I can use it to change the volume but sound is only on the TV speakers. If I go to sound settings on the TV when the DVD is on there is only the option to select TV sound (or optical etc) but there is no option to change it to soundbar.
Any help or advise much appreciated, please bear in mind I’m not very technical.
