This has been posted for years but I feel it’s been expressed incorrectly and misunderstood.
I need an option to disable the volume change notification. Not just when an external device which is outputting sound changes the level, but fully.
This pop up notification ruins the viewing experience. I don’t need to know the volume has changed, I just pressed the button to change it and my external device has a screen that tells me the new volume level. I need the pop up to not cover the screen. Even if I didn’t have an external device plugged in (via HDMI-eARC, thanks for covering my screen with that every time to let me know) to output sound, I don’t need to know the volume is going up or down I can hear it’s going up or down. Please can we have a tickbox setting to disable the on-screen volume change notification!? #65” S95D
