So I just booted up my new TV for the first time and it didn't quite work the first time. So I turned it off and on, and it turn started okay... Straight up showed the hub.
I singed in and connected to the Internet and was about to start enjoying content - except no app would work, it would be stuck "updating the hub" trouble shooting threw up an error, saying it couldn't connect to the apps.
Resetting the hub didn't work - so as the last resort I did a complete factory reset - and it was a completely different experience - that first time failed to boot up, clearly went wrong because there's this whole colourful set up installation that showed up once I factory reset. Taking you through signing in, selecting apps, connection to SmartThings etc. And when the hub came up - apps were actually installing!
So...
If you ever come across this error:
mime-version: 1.0content-type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 content-transfer-encoding:8bit.
Factory reset your TV/Smart Monitor. You never really lose much doing it on a TV anyway.
