video shows the channel guide scaling up and down the right hand edge of the screen. This is the channel guide, and at the start it's inputting the sky q TV guide and choosing channels that way. Normally I just press and hold the up and down button 7ntil the tv channel guide appears on the right like in the end of the video.
Works fine on the terrestrial app, but on sky q it's very intermittent. Access is by push and hold the channel button up or down depending if you want to go up or down the channel list.
mine worked intermittently with sky plus as well, so no real surprise sky q is the same I suppose.
just looking to see if anyone knows why this is so, relatively, un reliable in enabling access? often it just doesn't respond, like it's still downloading the channels positions or something. How does it work? Where does it get the data from? I guess the Q box via hdmi. But as most data via hdmi is so laggy I guess it's no surprise it's not performing. Do we need 2.1 hdmi maybe?
any thoughts ?
