Sky Q Automatically comes on with Samsung remote but not Sky remote

Hi All,

I've set up my Samsung QLED tv and programmed my Sky Q remote to control the tv but if I turn the TV on without the Sky Q box powered on, I need to manually turn the Sky Q box on too. Where as if I use the Samsung remote, this automatically turns the Sky Q box on too. I use the Sky Q remote literally all the time so really frustrating that it doesn't turn the sky on automatically when the tv is switched on. 

Anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?
