Serial number date query/smart things nonsense

How do find the date of manufacture in my 15 digit serial number.

I have lost my remote and trying to use Smart things as a remote control. But in the setup process it asks me to ALLOW with my remote. I DON'T HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL 😩🔫💥
