Samsung TV automatically switches on HDMI connections

I have a Samsung TV, model number UE65CU8000K, with a few devices connected to it, including a Sky HD Box and an Amazon Firestick.  

The issue I’m facing is that every time I turn on the TV and scroll through the HDMI channels in the source menu, if I pass by the Sky channel, it automatically powers on the Sky HD Box. 

I can’t seem to figure out how to stop this from happening. I’d prefer to manually turn on the Sky HD Box myself rather than it switching on automatically when I select the HDMI source. 

I’ve already disabled the HDMI-CEC option, but unfortunately, this hasn’t resolved the issue. 

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sure. Its linked to the universal remote setup. I pressed source, scrolled to the universal remote setup and deleted the sky remote which has fixed the issue
