Hello Samsung Community,
I’m facing an issue with my Samsung OLED 55S90C TV and would appreciate any advice.
I have connected Sonos ceiling speakers via HDMI, but I am unable to switch between audio outputs. When I select the TV’s built-in speakers, it automatically switches back to the ceiling speakers after a few seconds.
I was hoping a recent update might resolve this, but the issue persists. Is there any way to fix this without disconnecting the HDMI cable?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Unfortunately, I tried that, but the issue is still there and hasn’t been resolved 😓

I'm really upset with Samsung HDMI interfacing with receiver system.
I had an LG TV that was working like a charm: switched to Samsung top-of-gamma few weekes ago (S95D) and I had to give up in finding a solution: no way to let the TV work via HDMI-ARC with my Denon receiver.
If I choose Receiver, no audio is played.
If I choose Optical (connecting via optical cable), TV after a while switched off the receiver and switch to TV Speakers.
Only chance is to go for optical with ARC/CEC/everything disabled but, in this case, I need the receiver remote to control the volume of the receiver. In 2024, when for years people is driving receivrs volume via the TV remote.

I completely agree with you. It's unfortunate that Samsung doesn't seem to pay attention to some important details that really should be prioritized. It's disappointing to invest in devices that fail to offer even basic features like switching between external and internal speakers, and similar functionalities. Hopefully, they will address these issues in future updates or models.

Yes, I have tried that already and explored all possible options, but unfortunately, I haven't found a solution. However, it's not a big issue, I've gotten used to it, and I hope these problems will be resolved in the future.
