Samsung The Frame 75 - Purple tint

See attached photo. 

When in greyscale I get a purple tint over some areas on the screen. 

This is not noticeable when there is bright pictures on the tv. 

Is the edge led strip bad and need replacement or what do you think needs to be done?

@Jakez: This could potentially be caused by the light from the nearby window reflecting off the screen. If you close the blinds, or check the screen in a dark environment, does the issue persist?

Yes it is the same in a dark environment, for example in the evenings.
