Just got this and it is connected to the Sony HT 5000 sound bar and not happy with an annoying issue.
On Virgin TV, I can use "Pass through" for sound output, all good.
However, when I switch to Freeview, the sound drops out constantly. When I checked the menu, the sound output has changed to "auto" but the "auto" selection will not work.
In order to get the sound to work, I constantly have to change the sound output to PCM. on Freeview, a pain on the neck.
Also, why is this TV no longer providing BBC text? I can still get BBC text on my older Samsung Q9
In addition, I tried to connect my Q9 via optical to my Cambridge Edge NQ. Again, constant sound drop outs with Cambridge saying there are issues with the sound on newer Samsung TVs. What`s going on?
