Recently bought this TV and experienced no issues with device connectivity until a few days ago.
The problem is;
When I switch on the TV and Xbox, the TV recognises that the Xbox is there and switches to that source. At this point nothing is displayed but a black screen. I know the tv is on because I can change the volume and the sliding bar appears.
I have connected the Xbox to another TV and there is no problem with it so the issue cannot be the Xbox.
I have tried the other 2 HDMI ports to no avail. I tried swapping the ends of the HDMI cable in all 3 slots with no change.
I have swapped the HDMI cable and tried it on all 3 ports, no change.
I have tried other devices (Amazon Firestick and BluRay player) with the same result, a black screen.
Does anyone have any solution to this? It seems impossible to get a repair booked with Samsung as they are adamant that the issue lies with the external devices and not the TV.
