I just recently bought a Q80C 65" television. It's a great TV but has some frustrating quirks.
- Whenever it is turned on, instead of staying on the home screen, it launches the Samsung TV Plus app, which is displayed as the most recently used app. I never use the Samsung TV Plus app.
- Every time I turn the TV on, I have to go in and reconnect it to the internet, including entering the password.
I have searched all through the settings and manual, and cannot find a way to resolve these two issues. I have another, older Samsung TV and it does not have these issues. Can anyone advise?

Hi @LissaKay
Are you still having the same issues or did you get this sorted? If not, could we take the full model code and current software version of your TV please? Go to Home > Settings > Support > About This TV.

Our TV/AV colleagues have advised us that needing to re-enter the Wi-Fi password each time is a temporary issue and set to be permanently resolved by software update version 1220 (or later) – so look out for that.
They’ve also advised a workaround for it that may be a bit easier than entering the Wi-Fi password repeatedly is to carry out a ‘cold’ boot of the TV:
Press and hold the Standby key on the remote for a long time until the TV reboots.
If it’s done successfully, the boot logo will appear, followed by the home icon. (If the TV just goes off or comes back on very quickly, try pressing the Standby key again and for longer.)
