We recently bought a Samsung Q series and want to make sure that, when we are out, our younger family members won't crank up the volume to disturbing levels.
I noticed that several brands do allow people to limit the max volume. Is this also possible for our Samsung Q series?
When so, what steps should we take?
Thanks!

Hi @Robertjan88 Not sure if you are using Sound Bar or Tv Speakers but in any case you may to switch to Tv Speakers when you are not around. You can set the Sound to Standard rather than Amplified (though not recommended for best experience) which is quieter, though obviously the volume could still be set to a fairly high level .
There is a way to set a Maximum Volume Level but this involves accessing the Service Menu and setting it to Hotel Mode, the proviso here though it that a setting was changed inadvertently which was judged to have directly caused a fault your warranty (if applicable) would likely be invalidated. However if you are careful should be fine.
This is the Method but you would need Standard Remote rather than a Smart One
On the remote press: 'Mute, 1, 1, 9, Enter' - This will open the Hotel Options Menu
Not an option I need myself though.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
