SAMSUNG C24F396 Full HD 24" Curved LED Monitor use for TV

How can I use the C24F396 for TV use.

It does not have a co-ax connection but has HDMI & 'blue pin' connection.

I am hopeful that the C24F396 can be used for TV without any costly addition/parts.

I have an old skybox gathering dust if that is of any help.

I also have sky dish which is supplying Freesat to a couple of TVs and it has capacity for at least 2 more connections.

Hi @quintain. If your Sky box has HDMI out, you should be able to connect it to the monitor that way.

Thank you for your reply.

I will dust off the old Sky box and connect it to the dish wire in and the HDMI out to the TV.

My apologies for probably being an ***** but will I need to do much more than the above in/out connecting to get a TV picture on the monitor ????

BTW I selected the box "email me when someone replies" but I did not get an email...again should I have done anything else??

BTW one of my 5 letter words is showing asterisks, the word was not crude and started with "I" finishing with "T" meaning feeling rather silly I.D.I.O.T.
