Hello. I've just bought a new 65-inch S95D Samsung OLED TV (QE65S95D). It's been a while since I last purchased a TV, therefore I have some disconnect regarding how I should check the TV initially to ensure everything is working well (no dead pixels, etc.). Could you give me any recommendations on what I should do as a first step to ensure the TV is okay? Also, your experiences are more than welcome.

Hi @Pantaloons Welcome to the Samsung community. You can Run a Picture or Pixel Test ,Settings-Support-Device care-Self Diagnosis-Picture, issue on new Tv not common though. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/how-do-i-run-a-picture-test-self-diagnosis-on-my-t...
when monitoring the Tv can check picture quality,Refresh Rate plus smart Hub/General UI is working well.
There are number of different settings though and some adjustment required depending on preference. Generally Fimmaker Mode,Movie and standard are best. Picture processing is best keep at mimimum level or you have the soap opera effect. https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/tv-buying-guide/best-picture-quality-tv/
