Our six month old QN95B Neo QLED has developed a fault.
A curved shadow has started appearing vertically, basically separating the two halves of the screen.
It's only visible when the the screen is showing mostly uniform colour or brightness (for example when the background of a scene is a flat white wall, although it is also visible on title cards and menus where the colour and brightness is consistent).
No damage has occurred to the television
Slightly annoyed as Samsung are only going to whisk it away and leave us TV-less for a week, which is disappointing after-sales service for such an expensive TV purchased only six months ago.
It's proving tricky to get a good photo of what's happening, but has anyone seen anything like this before?

I have this exact same issue on my screen and have now booked in for a replacement (apparently according to the lady on the phone). My 1 year warranty runs out soon and its the 85 inch version so I'm unsure what the process is going to be! Did your screen end up being replaced / fixed?

Hiya,
The television went off for a fortnight and apparently the screen was replaced. Initially all was fine but then the issue started to come back again. So it's now been taken away for a repair again. Am not confident that they will resolve the issue however.
Hope you have better luck than me.

Hey!
So with mine, Samsung sent out one of their external authorised repair companies to look at the TV. The two engineers then saw the issue and agreed the panel was faulty, took pictures and reported it back to Samsung. A replacement panel was ordered (took about a week for them to receive it) and then fitted at my house, it's pretty much an entire new TV, the only things they transfered over were the speakers and mainboard. Which was all done for free under the 1 year warranty, the new panel has been completly fine as well. Good luck with getting yours fixed, hopefully Samsung will replace yours to, its a really distracting issue especially with gaming and watching movies!

Yes i contacted samsung support engineer also visited but they saying cant change the panel for that minor issue, use more to issue get bigger then they will replace .What a disgusting behaviour from Samsung. 2nd thing they said if we changed pannel then maybe patch issue also apper on new pannel so use old panel. Is this justification really appericiable ?? Pls reply what to do now ? & Your tv going good after panel changed?? Reply

Had a repair and the same defect came back after a couple of months. Had the worst experience with Samsung customer services, they replaced it again and I sold the TV and got an LG.
Will never buy Samsung again, their televisions are garbage and their treatment of customers is even worse.
