Hi, has anyone managed to find out how to get in touch with Samsung’s complaints department, if they even have one? . I bought a smart TV just over five months ago from Curry’s online it was just over £300, and about a month ago we noticed a white line going from top to bottom in the middle of the screen you could see it was the pixels, so I took it to my local Curry’s store they less than usual and said I would need to get it picked up as I’d bought it online and not from the store. So I rang the help line and what a waste of time that was I told her it was the pixels, but she wouldn’t listen I had to try her fixes which didn’t work that’s an hour of my life wasted on the phone then she tells me to take it to my local Curry’s as it will be quicker. I thought I’d try Samsung’s help line I booked a collect and take away repair on the 9th of November and got an email back confirming the repair and another one on the 11th saying someone would be contacting me soon and that they’d ordered the parts, and they should take 2–5 days it's now the 28th, and I’ve heard nothing. I wish I’d never bought it online and not bought a Samsung!

I'll ready tried it, chatted to someone online, said they're looking into it and will call me. I'm still not happy they  are trying to repair a TV that's just over 5 months old, and it has been 3 weeks, and I'm still waiting

It is worth reminding them to expedite the process.

I totally understand the frustration. Unfortunately, some of the unites might be a little faulty. It's just a bad luck ☹️

I Agree, but it’s pretty poor customer service for a company the size of Samsung the TV wasn’t cheap for its size it was the dearest in the store, but I thought Samsung was a good reliable make I should have gone for an LG the Samsung only lasted 4 months Curry’s were rubbish and Samsung are the same I could understand if it was over a year old, but it’s only just 5 months old and one of those months I’ve been waiting for them to come and collect it

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Sorry to hear of your issues.

We have seen numerous posts where users have bought from a retailer then when there has been an issue, tried to reach out to the manufacturer.

As you bought the device from Currys, and it is still in warranty - GO BACK TO CURRYS. That is who your contract is with. It is for Currys to sort out, not the customer reaching out to the manufacturer.

I'm most cases Currys usual route is to simply replace the unit.

Please don't reach out to Samsung directly as you'll get a much quicker service going back to the retailer.
