QN95B - Intermittent sparking sound from TV

Hi,

I recently purchased QN95B TV in India. From day 1, I sometimes get this sound from TV. It is like a spark, same sound you get when killing a mosquito with electric bat.

On my complaint the TV was replaced. However, the new TV also has exact same issue. Please hear the sound in below video. Sometimes the sound does not come for hours, but as in this video it was very frequent.

Any ideas how to get redressal for this very annoying issue from an otherwise excellent TV?

Thanks.

Hey @sanman79

That's definitely unusual. I'd advise getting in touch with Samsung Support in your region to either get this inspected/repaired or replaced: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/

Does this mean when you turn it off it makes the noise?

No, only while TV is on. Once the video in my post is approved, you can understand it.

Thanks @KholaI

Pls check the video and let me know if a new TV having this issue should be repaired or replaced by Samsung.

The Samsung service here is saying that will adjust some sound parameters and also check speaker alignment and taping.

Hey @sanman79

Apologies! I can't say for certain, as it would need inspecting. But, a new TV should not be making a noise like. You mentioned it was replaced before, for the same reason. Have you changed any sound settings with the help of Samsung Support in your region?

No, I have not changed anything. I have not been advised to change anything by Samsung.

Since two TVs have exactly the same issue, it looks like an issue with a certain batch of TVs of this model. And Samsung support told me they have received at least one more similar complaint.

Today, Samsung replaced the motherboard of the TV. Keeping fingers crossed.
