QN700B cannot control the volume of the Bluetooth device with the remote control!

The year is 2024. We cannot control the volume of the Bluetooth device with the remote control, you cannot do this, even though we are in 2024, you still cannot do it. we understood it. You also put an optical audio output on the One connector box. I don't understand why we cannot control the volume of the device to which we connect the optical audio output. If you put a physical audio output there, shouldn't your users be able to use it too? I could do all of these with my old TV, Samsung Q8C, without any problems. However, unfortunately, none of this happens with the new model QN700B. Are you aiming to stand out only with the screen in terms of technology? In other technologies (such as software), you are clearly going backwards, not even counting where you are. The way your technical services communicate and talk to customers is already a disgrace. Maybe you don't know, but your technical service is openly criticizing your products. You can see this by looking at the complaint records. This is an attitude beyond disgrace that does not suit Samsung at all! (at least that's the case for Hong Kong). I don't know if there is any other company that victimizes its customers this much. Unfortunately, most of my devices in my home are Samsung, but it looks like this will change soon. I also express my hatred for not valuing your customers.

It is really inconceivable that you are victimizing so many people for something that can be fixed with a small software update.

You know samsung don't make/own the BT spec right?

It's a limit of the tech BT only does 2.0 anyway so a huge waste of that soundbar!

That's why they use WIFI now because it can do more, it's not a Samsung fault you don't have a TV that doesn't support it.

They literally added WIFI support to soundbar to solve your issue!

First of all, the TV you think it doesn't support is the QN700B from 2022. What do you think about the fact that I can use all these devices on a Q8C TV from 2017 without any problem? Isn't it strange that I can use it on a product two or three generations ago without any problem, but not on a new generation product? Also, I don't care if Samsung produces Bluetooth technology or not. What's important to me is that they have integrated this feature into the TV, but I can't use it as a user. You say that BT 2.0 has some limitations, but not every user can know that. Then shouldn't they share this information with all their users like an honest manufacturer and seller? Also, are you suggesting that I throw away the products I have and have invested heavily in? If they cannot integrate the technology used in previous products into their new products, then they have a serious research and development problem. Look, almost all of the electronic products in my home belong to Samsung and I enjoy using them. But at the same time, we should criticize without mercy so that they hear our voices. Please don't be unnecessary fanboys here.

Victimising? A little dramatic about a software thing that you don't have?

That's like asking Ford to replace your whole car when they do a refresh of a model all because yours doesn't have android Auto.

It you "enjoy" all the rest why don't you go and write some posts about the positives? People are quick to cry when a tiny inconvenience doesn't work (a quick Google would of told you)

Either you don't understand what you read, or you are not smart enough, or you find all kinds of ridiculous excuses to justify yourself.

My friend, I am asking "Samsung company", definitely not you but Samsung company!

I am asking why I can use a very simple feature on my old model TV while I cannot use it on a new model TV, and you are giving me examples of ridiculous android cars. Despite all this, let's say you are right about bluetooth, you are definitely not, but let's say you are right.

There is an optical audio output on the back of the TV and when I connect it there, I cannot control the sound with the TV remote control. what do you call this? I am waiting for an example of a refrigerator from you on this subject! A smart one :smiling-face:

By the way, I'm not writing this to cry as you understand, but to ask them to make the user experience better. I hope you understood what you read!

And keep your clever answers to yourself, okay?

By the way, a small note: almost all newly produced software or technologies support older technologies, including "Bluetooth", to improve the user experience. Unlike you, not everyone buys new ones!

*ahem* Please keep it civil, guys.

And thanks for the feedback, @carmet - clearly this is something you feel passionate about. As much as we’d like, we don’t have a direct way to forward feedback on to the relevant people for this product area. But folks from Samsung HQ and product development have been known to quietly browse here from time to time, and hopefully they’ll take the feedback away to ponder over and it'll spark ideas on how to improve on what's there already.

But I agree with Gurky that “victimizing” is perhaps an inaccurate take on the situation overall – even if that’s how you feel. I can't speak for Hong Kong of course, but no one I've come across in my 10 years working for Samsung UK & Ireland is trying to come up with ways to victimise customers here; and I'd hope that's true wherever. There are a variety of factors that result in a product feature being implemented in a particular way or not at all e.g. market demand versus cost of implementation and support, or limitations of existing hardware etc.

If we make a little more noise, I think they will hear our voice. Thank you for your warning, I'm sorry if the concerned friend is offended. But this situation is really annoying.
