Hi, new to the forum.

My 4 month old 2018 Q9FN has started doing quick random reboots the last few days. It suddenly qoes black, displays the Samsung logo and then is back to the same input - takes about 3-4 seconds.  So far it has only done so while using my Xbox One X (which is annoying), but at random times - 1 time each evening. I've reattached all HDMI cables and the One Connect cable, and setup all inputs from scratch. I have not done a full reset yet, although I guess that's the next step. I'm on the latest firmware.

Anyone experienced the same? Is this the fist sign of a faulty One connect box?

I'm having the same issue, got the main board replaced under the screen, and same issue (tho less often) after updating to the latest firmware. I find it insane that this TV is having so much issues after so little time.

Hello,

It has happened to me for more than 2 years now. When I connect the XBOX One X and there are images with predominantly dark contrast and something very bright, the TV reboots. Not only that, but it also happened to me with HDR content (Netflix, MKV, ...). As I had it insured, the first time I sent it they found errors on the motherboard, in the wifi antenna and something else, they changed all that but the problems persist. This situation is totally desperate, Samsung should pronounce itself in some way, since we have a product that does not work.

Many of us are having this issue and I suspect it has to do with an engineering deficit. It was my hope that Samsung was going to resolve this matter. It is disappointing that two years ago I spent around $2500 on a TV that is not watchable after about an hour. I think it is time we start discussing as a community a class action lawsuit. That is of course whether Samsung decides to fix this issue at their cost.
