Hey everyone...
So I have a question about Inverse Ghosting on my 55Q90T while playing on a PS4 Pro and a PS3 (I don't have a PC or a Xbox to test another hardware).
Since update 1460,9 (and after multiple factory reset) :
So, my thing is I'm not strict about response time. Unless I'm playing a competitive online shooter or fighter, I don't really notice the difference. So I would like to enjoy the better picture quality of the picture modes outside Game Mode, but the inverse ghosting (especially in dark games or during night time in open world games) is unbearable.
What is worrying me is that as far as I know most people don't have any inverse ghosting issue after the 1304 patch.
Just to be clear, my "ghosting" looks like a purple silhouette that appears in front of dark objects on light(er) backgrounds when camera panning.
I thought maybe my panel was faulty, but then why would it go away with the patch in Game Mode? Also, the weird thing is that, sometimes, while tinkering with the settings, the ghosting goes away for just a little bit, and then comes back for whatever reason (without me changing anything).
Some games that will immediately show me inverse ghosting :
Thanks for anyone who can help, I'm at a loss here!

UPDATE 3 :
Here is a video taken on my phone of the purple ghosting. Look at the trees and the corpse on the floor :

UPDATE 4 :
Another video, with the purple ghosting even more evident :

Q95T owner here, and yup, extremely bad purple inverse ghosting. HDMI2.0 from PC to TV.
Can't play any dark game because panning causes the screen to light up purple!
+ some images of how Game Mode ruins dark areas

Purple ghosting on my Q80T with GMP on, PS4 game with HDR
Samsung never again. I’m tired of wait for updates. It’s inadmissible for a TV of this price.

Heh, same game I used in my example too!
Agreed, Samsung should be ashamed of releasing any TV with these issues, let alone a premium model.

Turn game motion plus off.

If I turn off GMP the colours became inverted.

1-why should any mode create that kind of ghosting? it is unacceptable whatever the mode
2-with GMP off, the contrast/dimming is terrible (to the point of being unplayable for darker games) and there are DSE effects (especially some weird moving scanlines effect)
So nope, not going to be ok with a subpar experience on a premium tv.

So I was playing Death Stranding on PC and I came across this strange scenario where:
I could notice quite bad ghosting when playing the game at 4K60Hz.
I switched the resolution to 1440p120Hz (still 60fps set as max framerate within the game) and the ghosting went away.
Since the ghosting is kinda difficult to capture on video, I found this specific spot in the game where it's quite obiously visible across some black lines, and I captured that. Then I captured another video showing the resolution switch to 1440p from the Nvidia control panel and launching the game again, and no ghosting is visible in the same area.
Here are the two videos:
Q90T ghosting 4K60Hz:
Q90T no ghosting 1440p120Hz:

This is on HDMI port 4 with an HDMI 2.1 cable, with PC and Game Mode enabled (Game Motion plus is disabled)
65" Q90TATXZT with Fimrware : T-NKMDEUC 112.9 (I didn't update it on purpose)
I hope this helps in illustrating the issue. Ask away if you have any questions about my setup.

Samsung needs to address this!
