I have samsung 55 inch smart and had it for 5 year no issues then today it came up on the screen to enter a pin code to my mobile device now tv wont work as do not know where to input this any suggestions

Usually Samsung have 0000 or 1234 default PIN. If these don't work, try 1111.

@Members_LhxkRIW: If the default PIN suggestions don't work for you, then please confirm the model number of the TV, located on the sticker on the back of the device, and I will look into this further for you. I'm sure that the PIN can be reset by a sequence of button presses on your remote, however this differs from model to model.
