Please can someone advise what size and spec HDD or SSD device I need to pause record or time shift live TV on my QE65S92CATXXU.

Hi @Members_TdGx6nk  yes you can record/time shift on this model.    As far as USB drives go Samsung tend to recommend hard drives with an external power supply and a maximum capacity of 2 TB and 5400 rpm, however USB powered devices should be fine.
