One Connect Box Mini

I have a Samsung MU8000 55" series with a One Connect Mini box.  I can't get the TV to respond to anything other than power functions.  It's stuck on the One Connect screen and won't do anything.  Visibly I can't see anything wrong with the One Connect box or cable.  I've tried all HDMI ports and can't get anything to work.  Does this mean the box/cable is bad?  A bit frustrating that the replacement part is so expensive and the TV is now useless without it.

Hi and welcome, is the TV new, it does sound like the OC cable could be an issue, is it seated correctly, I have the BIG One Connect and used to find it had to be seated correctly, otherwise I had endless, connected, disconnected alerts, drove me nuts.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately I still cannot find root cause. I even went as far as buying a replacement box and cable.  Still the same error screen shows and I can’t navigate outside of it.  Would be nice if Samsung made this more user friendly.  If the box is bad it seems the TV is useless.  Very disappointed.
