Just got done talking with Samsung Support to fix a Qled 6 for having Intermittent issues. We only the tv for a little more than a year. The tech walked me through the troubleshooting steps. The same troubleshooting steps that I’ve found on other online threads that deals with this issue:

-Turn on/ turn off

-Make tv software is up to date

-And then do complete reset.

After all that. The issue persisted. And the tech automatically says that I will need to replace the One Connect box and the invisible cable wire!

To which I asked if this is a known issue with the Qled and the One Connect box?

Tech replies that this is “not” a known issue to them!

Of course I called “Bull*****”!

Really?  Not a known issue? But the remedy that you automatically prescribed to me is to get a new one connect box!

You didn’t tell me that it could be a display issue. Or any other issue. You just gave me one recommendation. And that is to get a new One Connect Box. But yet, it’s not a known issue to you?!

If its not a known issue to you then Samsung must be trying real hard to play deaf and dumb. Because the moment I google one connect issues. There multiple threads listing troubleshooting advices for it!!

And the kicker?  The new One Connect box will cost you $500!!

Might as well by myself a brand new tv!!

After hours on the phone with Samsung they finally agreed to send someone out. Turned out it wasn’t the cable so the board was changed in the one connect box. Once it was reconnected again, it immediately blew and he thought it may be a power supply issue. Samsung refunded in the end as I was still under guarantee. I did get a 3rd Samsung tv in a year as my previous tv prior to these blips had been excellent. I took the view that 3 times lucky and I ended up with the identical model without the one-connect. So far, so good. Seems clear that the one-connect technology is pretty dodgy and risky.

I was 4 months without a working tv. Samsung make you jump through hoops and the customer services was appalling. If I hadn’t kept pushing (a lot of stress), I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere.

One connect box issues still persist 2022! Brand new The Frame TV. Not picking up wireless on anything more than 4mps when my ipad next to the TV running at 30mps download. Call customer service. Told me its a wireless issue despite me trying to explain that ipad next to TV had no such wireless issue. In warranty so now returned to retailer to send to Samsung for repair. Not optimistic as it seems Samsung first response is to blame anything but their kit!

I’m having issues with my tv and I’m not sure if it’s the one connect box cable or actual box.Tv,sky, fire stick all in box and every so often it cuts off, lines over screen starts and restarts and loss of sound.I have a video of it doing it.This does it maybe twice or 3 times a day
